OUR PROCESS FOR ELECTRICAL WORK:
1. The electrician will arrive and assess the work that needs to be done. 2. If necessary, the electrician will go and purchase the material needed to complete the electrical work at the nearest electrical supplier. This will be done as quickly as possible; however, in some rare cases, they may need to travel somewhat if the local suppliers are out of stock.
3. Arrival back at your premises to complete the electrical work.
The team will test and fix any issues that still require attention.
4. As we charge hourly rates, we are aware that we need to work as quickly as possible; our electricians are acutely aware of this and will complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible.
5. Safety and correct installations are our top priority and not something we will compromise on due to the time taken.
6. We need to comply with the correct safety regulations.
DISCLAIMER:
- Please note that it is your responsibility to test that
EVERYTHING is working as per your specification thoroughly.
- Please ensure you have checked all aspects of the work before our electrician leaves your premises.
- Once you have checked everything on the day, it is assumed that everything is accepted and working as per your requirements.
- Should anything not work after the electrician has left due to not being checked properly and requires our electrician to return, this will be for your account and charged for at an hourly rate.
(Exception to this may include unforeseen issues but is not typical)
LOADSHEDDING:
Please note if this is applicable to your situation: you will need to ensure no load shedding will occur whilst our team is onsite, so please check your area's times before confirming with us.
Should load-shedding occur whilst we are onsite and we have not finished, we will remain on site until power returns to complete the work; however, we will charge for the hours. In most cases, we can complete work whilst the power is off and then test when the power returns.
JOB SPECIFICATION:
We realise in most cases, you are aware of the work that is required to be done, and we will complete this for you. However, when there is fault-finding that needs to be done, we will first advise what our findings are, confirm these with you and then go ahead with completing the work. This may mean that time taken differs from what was confirmed/quoted and before the onsite assessment was done.
ASSESSMENT HOUR IS CHARGED FOR:
If, after the electrician completes the initial onsite assessment, you do not want the work to be completed any longer, you will only be liable for the time we took to assess, which in most cases is an hour. (Exception may apply to businesses or larger properties) This is covered by our call out fee.
MATERIALS/SPECIALISED EQUIPMENT HIRE:
Any materials we require and source for the electrical work at your premises will also be confirmed with you first as per the quotation, when applicable, will be for your account. We do not have the exact pricing of the materials. These are purchased from the closest electrical supplier to your property and may differ slightly from the price quoted but will be roughly within range. Prices quoted are the general prices.
